OUR MISSION

St Christopher’s Parish seeks to be a growing church for Blenheim, making disciples of Jesus.

To GROW in our knowledge and love of God,
to SERVE those around us for the glory of God,
to GO out to share the good news of Jesus with the world.

Our church family looks for a Vicar with a strong Biblical teaching ministry to expand our knowledge and strengthen our faith for mission in the community.

Following recent growth, we are ready to move to the next level of parish development and hope our new Vicar can make a long-term investment in achieving our vision with us.

A Message from Bishop Steve Maina

“The Diocese of Nelson is a family of evangelical churches in the Anglican Church of Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia. We are committed to cultivating vibrant local communities of faith that radiate the Good News of Jesus Christ. St Christopher’s Parish is a joyful expression of this calling. I invite you to prayerfully discern whether the Lord Jesus is calling you to this role. May the Holy Spirit guide you as you consider joining this dynamic and welcoming community.” +Steve

The Parish Region

The Parish Centre and vicarage at St Christophers is at the heart of Redwoodtown and the parish.

Redwoodtown is home to a diverse and welcoming community where people from different cultures and backgrounds form a vibrant, family-friendly suburb just south of Blenheim’s town centre, offering a warm community spirit, excellent schools, and easy access to parks and local amenities. Nestled in the heart of Marlborough’s sunny wine region, it combines suburban peace with urban convenience, making it an ideal place to live, work, and grow.
