Leadership Camp Cancelled – Join us for Nelson Day Event

Kia ora friends,

We’re really sorry to let you know that Leadership Camp 2025 at Lake Rotoiti has been cancelled.

A note from our Diocesan Manager:

"It is with deep regret that I advise the Camp Committee have concluded to cancel this weekend’s Leadership Camp at Lake Rotoiti.

Having considered the advice of both the Tasman Civil Defence and the Nelson-Marlborough Emergency Management Group, we have acknowledged that all non-essential events should be either cancelled or rescheduled. The ‘Orange Weather Warning’ forecast for the region raises unacceptable risk and hence this unenviable decision has had to be made for the good and safety of everyone.

However, we are keen to continue the Camp in a revised version. This will be a one-day event held at St Barnabas Church in Stoke, Nelson on the Friday."

— Graeme Mitchell, Diocesan Manager
