We are seeking a dedicated and organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the reception area, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities.

This is a fixed term agreement for 12 months.

Hours: 22 hours over 4 days (9am-3pm, Monday to Thursday- negotiable)  

Location: Anglican Centre, Diocese of Nelson, 48 Halifax Street, Nelson

Report to: Governance Support Manager

Relationships:

• Diocesan Manager

• Bishop

• Bishop’s Chaplain & Ministry Team

• Anglican Centre staff

• Visitors to the Anglican Centre

• Parish staff, administrators, vicars, vestry and general church members

• Bishopdale Theological College (BTC)

• External contractors/suppliers

Hourly Rate: Living Wage, negotiable based on experience.
