The annual Leadership Camp is like our big family gathering of leaders from across the diocese. It's a vibrant and life-giving three days, where our key leaders and their families play, pray, learn, talk and rekindle our shared vision for the year ahead.
This year’s guest speaker is Sam Harvey, who will be speaking on prayer and encouraging us as we go deeper with Jesus.
Sam is the National Coordinator for 24-7 Prayer in New Zealand and is the lead pastor of Bay Vineyard Church in the Hawkes Bay. He is married to Jen, and they have three very active boys! He graduated from BCNZ (now Laidlaw) in 2003 and has in been in full-time ministry ever since. Sam loves good food, good music and good waves!
We are privileged to be joined by Bishop Oscar Muriu and his wife Bea from Kenya as our special guests. Bishop Oscar will be leading us in our Bible Studies, and we look forward to receiving them and what God has in store to share with us.
The Leadership Camp is for ordained and non-ordained leaders alike, and if the whole weekend isn’t possible, day visitors especially on the Friday are warmly welcomed. If you would like to attend but finances are tight, please speak with your parish leaders to see if there is parish funding available to help.
