The Cathedral is seeking to employ someone for 5 hours a week to lead the growing CathedralKids ministry during the 10am service. Children’s ministry is an important part of Cathedral life, and the programme typically uses the outline and resources from Bible Explore that follows lectionary and links to the readings in the service.
The role involves preparation and planning (2hrs), programme delivery (2hrs), coordinating volunteers and Cathedral staff meeting if possible (1hr).
The successful applicant is expected to undertake the diocesan SafeHere training and adhere to best practice for safe ministry.
