The Parish of Richmond is looking to employ a Families and Children’s Worker who is committed to the mission of the church, personal Bible reading, prayer, and holiness who can help us build our ministry to families and children. If you are someone who can: Facilitate opportunities for families to connect, and draw one another on in faith through regular family events; and, resource and deliver a Sunday morning programme for our children’s ministry with the support of our current volunteers, we would love to hear from you. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to help build a new ministry which sees families connected to God and encouraging each other in faith as they apply the Word of God to the everyday challenges of family life as Christians, and which allows for the children in our church to grow in their love of the Lord Jesus and God’s Word as they mature in faith and Christlikeness. The role is currently funded for 10 hours per week, and includes additional ministry allowances.
